Ancient Geometrics: A journey from the Acropolis of Tiryns to contemporary ceramic jewelry and cultural heritage
A journey into contemporary jewelry and our cultural heritage

The view of the Acropolis of Tiryns (located in the Archaeological Museum) was my main reference in the Tiryns jewelry series.

The square dominates the Acropolis of Tiryns. From the palace itself on the Upper Acropolis, to the rooms that were opened as niches in the wall, perhaps used as storage rooms, to the organized city, one encounters a continuous motif of squares. Arrangement and symmetry are common characteristics with jewelry depicted through carving.
Jewelry with clean lines and absolute geometric symmetry through the square shape.
